Railyn is a dancer in all aspects, attending a prestigious dancing school and working part time to make sure she and her sister can pay their bills. She doesn’t have the time, patience or any form of desire to deal with men and the childish mess that they seem to bring forward... until local rapper, Carbon, literally slams into her.

Carbon is the poster boy for bad decisions in the tabloids. Starting from a house complete with a work-a-holic father and drug addict mother, he quickly finds that the only way to survive being a scrawny white kid in the drug ridden streets of his hometown is to join a gang of his own. Death over dishonor is branded into his skin and his mind and dropping a few hot songs that top the charts and give him a few bands isn’t enough to change that... but maybe, the younger sister of his assistant is.

When Carbon and Railyn meet things seem to escalate quickly and Railyn is quickly faced with the reality that Carbon’s life isn’t all press releases and time in the studio and maybe, just maybe, her love isn’t enough to save him from turning into his parents.
